Statewide Emergency is a rock and roll quartet that plays honest, original
music with complex melodies and quality musicianship. Although much of the
vocals and guitar are rooted in blues and alternative music (The Black Keys,
Queens of the Stone Age), the rhythm section is inspired by more straight
ahead rock bands such as Led Zeppelin and The Dead Weather leaving more
intrigue than doubt about what genre the band plays. One music writer described
it as “balls-to-the-wall rock laced with blues and an alternative
touch.”
Summer 2010 - We just released our second album, Carnivorous Carnival.

This new release has received positive reviews from both The
Boulder Weekly and Westword.
We will be promoting the new tunes with shows all over Colorado this Summer
and Fall. We also just started working on our first music video for the
album's single “The Inside”;
